Geography
Why is the subject important?
The geography curriculum at Trinity Academy Grammar provides students with new ways of thinking about the world. Our curriculum will provide students with powerful ways of analysing, explaining and understanding different aspects of our world. Our curriculum will develop students’ knowledge of the world through the geographical themes of place, space, scale, interdependence, sustainable development and interactions between the human and physical world. Geography enables pupils to learn about thousands of years of discoveries about how the world works and develops the skills to add this learning in the future. The geography curriculum will enable young people to follow and participate in debates on significant local, national and global issues.
